A total of 384 electronic surveys were sent to academic staff involved in administration—such as department chairs and faculty deans—of which 250 were completed and returned. The research utilized the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach for data analysis. Findings indicated that strategic orientation within organizations was negatively linked to crisis response strategies related to the COVID-19 situation. Conversely, results demonstrated a strong positive connection between strategic orientation and organizational culture.
