Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original, accurate, ethically conducted, and compliant with the editorial and ethical policies of both the journal and the publisher. The following responsibilities apply to all manuscripts submitted to journals published by APSSHS.

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Free from plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication/falsification, or image manipulation. Submissions may be screened for similarity. Authors must comply with COPE standards. |

Research integrity & data transparency |
Data must be accurate, complete, and honestly reported. Authors must retain original data and provide it upon reasonable request. Significant errors must be reported promptly to the editorial office. |

Ethics approval & informed consent |
Studies involving human participants or identifiable data require prior ethics committee approval and informed consent, reported in the manuscript per the journal's Ethics Approval and Informed Consent policy. |

5 |
Conflict of interest |
All financial, personal, institutional, or professional relationships that could influence the research must be disclosed, or a "no conflict of interest" statement included. |

6 |
Funding |
All funding sources must be disclosed, including the funder's role (if any) in study design, data handling, or the decision to publish. |

7 |
Copyright & permissions |
Authors must obtain written permission for any copyrighted third-party material (figures, tables, images, etc.) and confirm no IP infringement upon submission. |

8 |
Use of AI |
Any use of AI or AI-assisted tools must be disclosed. AI may only assist with language/readability — not academic judgment. AI cannot be listed as an author. |

9 |
Acknowledgements |
Contributors not meeting authorship criteria, and relevant financial/technical/institutional support, should be properly acknowledged. |

10 |
Post-publication responsibilities |
Authors must cooperate with corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions when required, in line with COPE recommendations. |

11 |
Compliance with publisher policies |
Submission confirms all authors agree to APSSHS's editorial, ethical, and publication requirements. Non-compliance may result in rejection, correction, retraction, or other action. |
