The Editorial Teams of APSSHS Publications consist of qualified subject experts responsible for managing the peer-review process and ensuring the scholarly quality of all published content across the journals.
Appointment of Editors
Editors are appointed based on academic qualifications, subject expertise relevant to the journal scope, publication record, and ability to perform editorial duties. Selection is made solely on professional merit and does not consider nationality, gender, religion, ethnicity, or other personal attributes.
Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for the evaluation of submitted manuscripts in terms of scholarly quality, originality, and relevance. Editorial decisions must be based on objective and evidence-based assessment in accordance with publication ethics.
Editors must not:
Apply bias based on authors' geographic, institutional, or personal characteristics
Engage in any form of discrimination unrelated to academic evaluation
Request or influence citation of irrelevant or non-scholarly sources, including self-citations
Editors are required to:
Maintain confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and related materials
Declare any conflicts of interest in accordance with journal policy
Provide objective and constructive editorial assessments
Issue clear and justified recommendations when revisions are required
Editorial Review Process
Manuscripts submitted by Editors are subject to independent peer review by at least two external reviewers. Editors are required to address reviewer comments and ensure that revised manuscripts comply with peer-review requirements prior to final editorial decision.
